    I'm a participant at jennifermarohasy.com/blog
Jennifer, who lives in NSW, advocates evidence-based environmental policies. And there's quite a bit of sometimes-heated discussion at her blog about AGW (anthropogenic global warming).

What do I think about AGW? Although CO2 is a weak greenhouse gas, there's *zero* evidence for the *central* claim of the Warmies, that anthropogenic CO2 emissions contributed in a *significant* way to the latest round of global warming, which ended in1998. The following rather long PDF document elaborates on this point. tinyurl.com/m5kgjs

Unlike human rights advocacy, Environmentalism is not always a sucker-proof issue. In this particular case, is wild scientific speculation sufficient reason for economic sabotage in the middle of a global recession--even if that speculation is 'politically correct'? Of course, for Aussies, there's always another consideration: not alienating one's powerful friends--even if they happen to believe in fairy tales.

Indeed. And the volume of information and misinformation is astounding.
